Aval kesari - Gokulashtami special recipe

Aval kesari is very easy to prepare and gets ready in no time.  It is made from avalakki or poha or flattened rice, sugar, ghee, cardamom powder and nuts and is very delicious and tasty.  Aval kesari  can be prepared in a jiffy when you have little time to make any sweets.  This sweet is generally prepared during Janmashtami as aval is the favourite food of Lord Krishna.
